Sun eIndex and eView Training
NextGate Solutions is excited to announce a technical training class in January on Sun’s eView and eIndex EMPI solutions. This two day course is designed for resources that are responsible for the implementation and management of the applications. This training will provide an in-depth review of EMPI functionality and the implementation process, and cover key topics such as data management, weighting and threshold issues, integration with JCAPS, Jasper reports and error handling. Additionally, students will be introduced to Sun’s new Master Index Data Manager (MIDM) ™ solution and Mural™, the next generation versions of indexing technology. Particular attention will be given to upgrading benefits and considerations.
A NextGate senior technical consultant with over ten years of experience implementing, configuring, upgrading and optimizing indexing solutions will teach this class. The content of this course has been developed from the numerous installations we have engaged in across the US and Europe. With an extensive track record of successful implementations, NextGate is considered the premier partner for the design, deployment and fine tuning of the Sun/SeeBeyond master index applications.
eIndex and eView – Technical Review – 2 Days – (NGS 201)
This two day course will provide an in-depth review of the functionality of these products and the implementation process. Topics of this class will include:
- Configuration of eView and eIndex
- Integration with Java CAPS™
- Phonetic encoding, setting field weights and match thresholds
- Using the GUI to search for records, merge records and resolve duplicates
- Managing potential duplicates and assumed matches with Jasper Reports
- Error Handling procedures
- Discussion of MIDM™ and Mural™ installation and deployment
