Gevik Nalbandian Joins NextGate as Vice President of Product Engineering
NextGate is pleased to announce that Mr. Gevik Nalbandian has joined the company as Vice President of Product Engineering. In this role, he will oversee and manage the development of NextGate products, including the MatchMetrix™ EMPI and MDM Suites, the enterprise Alerting and Monitoring system for eGate, and the HL7 Framework, among others.

Mr. Nalbandian has more than 17 years of technology, enterprise integration and management experience. Most recently, he served as Senior Director of the global Sustaining Engineering, Escalation Management and Field Assist and Support Teams at Sun Microsystems. He was responsible for the design and delivery of patches and fixes for over 300 products installed across 2000 customers. His efforts streamlined the support process, strengthened the software, and improved customer satisfaction by the greatest percentage in company’s history.
While at SeeBeyond, Mr. Nalbandian served as the Vice President of US Sales Engineering and Rapid Response Teams. The RRT were the expert engineers who designed cutting edge solutions and resolved the most challenging technical issues. Nalbandian also developed and implemented numerous integration architectures for Fortune 500 companies and many of the largest healthcare institutions in the county. His product expertise spans the entire JavaCAPS suite and its predecessors.
