NextGate’s market-leading EMPI now offers address resolution and geocode optimization to help healthcare organizations meet evolving data quality demands

PASADENA, Calif., February 15, 2018 – NextGate, an industry leader in patient and provider identification, announced its most recent partnership: a new agreement with GBG | Loqate, a global leader in location data solutions, including Address Verification and Geocode products.

The partnership brings together two market-leading solutions to help solve the fundamental challenge of address data management in healthcare. Leveraging the power of address resolution within its globally recognized Enterprise Master Patient Index (EMPI), NextGate will provide organizations with enhanced data quality and accuracy of patient demographic information for maximized efficiency. Seamless integration of GBG | Loqate within the EMPI allows organizations to standardize and authenticate address data in real-time, thereby avoiding risks associated with duplicate record creation and identity fraud.

As organizations transition to value based payment and care delivery models, the need for a complete and accurate view of patient data across the continuum becomes increasingly critical for greater operational and financial performance.

“Inaccurate, missing or outdated address information can severely impact operational and financial outcomes, as well as patient satisfaction scores,” said Andy Aroditis, NextGate CEO. “Our partnership with GBG | Loqate provides a streamlined approach to ensuring the correct address is entered and consistently formatted to help healthcare organizations proactively manage, detect and eliminate data quality issues for a trusted, reliable patient record.”

The partnership is a logical extension of NextGate’s innovative patient matching and identity management EMPI technology, which currently manages 250 million lives in the U.S. and around the globe.

“Our partnership with NextGate presents a unique opportunity for providers to deliver streamlined and accurate patient services. We are excited to align with NextGate’s market leading EMPI solution and support their efforts in delivering a longitudinal record of care across the enterprise to drive better outcomes in quality, delivery and profitability,” said Justin Duling, SVP, Commercial Director at GBG | Loqate.

NextGate and GBG | Loqate will be on hand to discuss how address resolution extends EMPI capabilities for patient matching during the 2018 Annual HIMSS Conference & Exhibition (HIMSS18) in Las Vegas, March 7, from 4-6 pm PT, at booth 7111.
