NextGate Announces Dr. Steven Davis as Keynote Speaker for Upcoming User Group Conference
Event for customers at Laguna Cliffs Marriott Resort & Spa in Dana Point, CA will host Dr. Steven Davis as he shares insight into data connectivity and management from a practicing physician’s perspective
PASADENA, CA – November 22, 2016 – NextGate, the leading healthcare technology company for patient and provider identity management, will be hosting Make the Connection!, a user group for customers, June 11-13, 2017, at the Laguna Cliffs Marriott Resort & Spa in Dana Point, CA. Steven Davis, DO will deliver the keynote address on the necessity of accurately identified data to support the emerging models of quality and efficiency based reimbursement. Dr. Davis is the Chief Medical Informatics Officer at Martin Luther King Community Hospital in Los Angeles and is a leader in developing their highly integrated electronic records system and a community outpatient clinic between MLKCH and UCLA.
As a founding member and past Chairman of Physician Associates IPA, a 140,000 patient managed care organization that is now part of Davita HealthCarePartners, Dr. Davis brings a unique perspective to the audience regarding the right tools and technologies for physician engagement, technology adoption and utilization, and the data needed to ensure care collaboration and better outcomes.
The keynote session entitled WHO DAT(a)? will provide insight into identity management tools and best practices for engaging physicians across the care continuum. Dr. Davis draws from his experience on the front lines of care delivery, information technology adoption and integration and physician leadership of one of the nation’s largest group and independent physician organizations. He is able to focus and lead engaged discussions on the importance and personal impact that patient identity and data management has on the intimate care of individuals and the population as a whole.
